Affordable Housing Systems, LLC is a technology firm developing custom solutions for developers, PHAs, and residents to alleviate the affordable housing crisis in the US. The company is managed by the team from LightUp Designs, which has developed custom applications, databases, and workflow automations for clients in the live entertainment, healthcare, real estate, and other industries since 2019.
Past Projects
Sawyer’s Walk at Block 55
We completed a pilot for an affordable housing system at Sawyer’s Walk at Block 55, a 578-unit senior affordable mixed-use project in Overtown.
Our simplified resident application, back-end processing tools, and automated screening and communication enabled 100% lease-up of affordable units, processing over 2,500 applicants. We have since built a more robust version of the pilot system that supports multiple projects and units, resident search tools, and PHA screening functionality with automated screening against building and unit criteria.
We are developing additional bespoke systems for municipal governments and private developers. Stay tuned.
